Ursolic acid

Ursolic acid is present in many plants but also fruits from daily life, like apples. It is known to be pro-apoptotic [1], suppresses tumor-invasion and has an anti-metastatic potential [2]. Besides its potential in being interesting for cancer research, it has an effect on muscle atrophy. Xu H. et al [3] found that Ursolic acid ameliorated the symptoms of experimental autoimmune myasthenia gravis either over Fas-mediated apoptosis or up-regulation of Treg cells.

Cfm Oskar Tropitzsch offers Ursolic acid and other phytochemicals, like Apigenin, Baicalin, Betulin, Betulinic acid, Puerarin, Baicalein, (-)-Epicatechin and Epigallocatechin gallate as reference standards and in bulk quantities.
