Rhodium is a silver-white, hard and
non-reactive transition metal. Rhodium has stronger thermal conductivity,
electrical conductivity and better reflectivity than other metals in the
family. Rhodium is used for alloys and as a catalyst, especially in vehicle
catalysts for the reduction of nitrogen oxides. In addition, rhodium is used in
heating spirals, spark plug electrodes in the aviation sector, in laboratory
equipment, or for spectacle frames and others.
