Plant: isolated from the bark, seed cones and leaves of trees of the genus Magnolia.

  • Source: Magnolia grandiflora (from the American South) and Magnolia dealbata (Mexican).
  • Traditionally, Magnolia biondii, Magnolia obovata and Magnolia officinalis are commonly used in Asian medicine
