He always has an open ear for the team and holds everything together: Our managing director, Steffen Tropitzsch. He started at Cfm in 2005, right after studying business administration. His day-to-day work includes monitoring financial figures, morning exchanges with the team, process optimization, IT, networking with business partners and contractual matters.

Michael Schaeffler, authorized signatory, has been with Cfm since 1997. He loves challenging projects.
In addition to global business development and worldwide networking, his area of ​​responsibility mainly includes coordination of contract manufacturing in the areas of: small molecules, ADC payloads, PROTACs, cGMP/APIs. There are many more than 80 successfully completed projects in these topics. In addition, Mr. Schaeffler acts as a dangerous goods safety advisor for the carrier road and has the qualification PK1 ICAO-/ IATA. Celine Pohlers joined our team as a trainee in 2019 and was soon entrusted with responsible tasks. Since 2022 she has been  supporting the “Team Pharma” in the area of ​​order processing. Her main tasks include entering documents, goods receipt and shipping, managing master data and much more.

Dr. Sandra Miklos studied biology at the University of Regensburg and wrote her doctoral thesis in the department of hematology/oncology at the University Hospital Regensburg in the research field of allogeneic bone marrow transplantation. She then worked as a visiting scientist at the Centro de Investigacion Biomedica de Michoacan.

She has been part of the Cfm team since 2014 and has several years of (sales) experience (scientific support, field service, customer support, networking, congresses and exhibitions).

As a key account manager, Corinna Schroller has been part of the Cfm team since 2017 and is responsible for the metals and metal compounds sector.

After studying tourism management with a focus on customer-/quality management and marketing, she went directly to Cfm Oskar Tropitzsch GmbH. Her main focus is the product Thimerosal, for which Cfm is known as a worldwide distributor. However, other metals, metal compounds, metal salt solutions and DTT also fall within her area of ​​responsibility.

Lennart Kahl joined our team in July 2023 in the area of quality management. After completing his bachelor’s degree in bioanalytics at the Coburg University of Applied Sciences, he initially moved to northern Germany as a research assistant. We are happy that he has found his way back home and into the Cfm team.

The trained marketing manager (AKAD certificate studies) has been part of the Cfm team since 2020. She ensures that you are provided with news about Cfm. Most of the time she taps the keys and writes articles for the Cfm newsletter, press releases, promotions and brochures, takes care of social media marketing, CRM and manages the website. In short, everything that belongs to marketing and public relations.

Dr. Johannes Broichhagen has enriched our team since 2022 with his scientific know-how.

He studied chemistry at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and received his diploma “with distinction” in 2010 before continuing his career in chemical biology and obtaining his doctorate in 2014 with “summa cum laude”. First he worked as a postdoc at the EPF Lausanne in Switzerland and later at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research in Heidelberg. During this time he developed a keen interest in biological systems and in particular in finding ways to remotely control them with light and visualize proteins in their natural environment.

In 2020 he became a junior group leader at the Leibniz Research Institute for Molecular Pharmacology. With over 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals, an impact factor of 23 (as of February 2022), the recipient of numerous awards and grants, and in addition to conducting cutting-edge research within his academy, he now also advises companies in the life sciences including us , Cfm Oskar Tropitzsch.

His core competencies are curating organic synthesis pathways and designing novel small molecule probes (e.g. fluorophores, (photo-)pharmaceuticals, complex (dendritic) ligands and probes for labeling biomolecules, click chemistry, peptidic conjugations), mapping requirements and chemical synthesis options for biological applications (e.g. for bacterial and mammalian cell culture including primary tissue, live cell imaging, tissue and animal specific requirements for in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo studies) and experimental design to elucidate (patho)physiology (e.g. to perform fluorescence microscopy on living cells, label-free imaging, cellular protein transport, in vivo delivery).
