Englerin A from the plant Phyllanthus engleri is inducing both necrosis and apoptosis in Weing cells subsequent to a G2M accumulation of cells in the cell cylcle. Englerin A is causing a sustained increase in cytosolic aclcium levels. EA seems to exert its effect on Ewing cells throug a decrease in phosphorylation of WES-FLI1 and its ability to bind to DNA. This effect is mediated as least in part through a decrease in the levels of the calcium dependent PKC-ßI after a transient upregulation. We don`t sell for applications, infringing US Patent No.: 8410,292, Issued April 2, 2013, “Epoxy-Guaiane Derivatives and Treatment of Cancer”. Potential mode of action/Key words: Apoptosis & Necrosis inducer
