Ferulic Acid is a precursor in the manufacture of other aromatic compounds.

Ferulic acid, or ferulic acid, is a yellow and odorless solid and is found in various plants such as skunk cabbage, dill, rice and grasses.

In the plant itself, it plays an important role in the synthesis of lignin in the cell walls.
Ferulic acid is also used as a starting material for the production of vanillin and antimicrobial substances such as soap, fragrances and cosmetics.

Ferulic acid is also used in beer production. In skin care products, the acid has a wide field of action, because it soothes irritated skin, pads dry skin wrinkles, is effective in pigment disorders, has anti-inflammatory effect and stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis in the skin and is therefore an important component of many skin creams. These properties of ferulic acid can restore the tone and radiance of the skin.
