Oligomycin B is a macrolide antibiotic that inhibits membrane bound mitochondrial ATPase and which is practically free of homologs. Oligomycin B inhibits the growth of Rhodotorula gultinis, Aspergillus niger and other moulds. Origin: Streptomyces diastatochromogenes.
