transition metal and is one of the platinum metals. It is the metal with the
lowest melting point in the group and also the most reactive. Palladium is used
to manufacture three-way catalysts, but also in dentistry as electronics or in
dentistry. Palladium is also used for medical instruments, as an implant
coating and for alloys in the jewellery industry.
