Satratoxin H is a trichothecene mycotoxin. It has been found in Stachybotrys. Satratoxin H induces production of reactive oxygen species, increases in malondialdehyde levels and induese apoptosis in PC12 cells, when used at concentrations raning from 5 to 100 nM. Satratoxin H is cytotoxic to human umbiical veine endothelial cells as well as HepG2, A549, U937 and Jurkat cancer cells.
